Standard Schnauzer

Dogsora

Life span: 13-16 Years

Height: 19 – 20 inches (male), 18 – 19 inches (female)

Weight: 30 – 45 lbs.

The Standard Schnauzer, a member of the working group, was developed in Germany between the 15th and 16th centuries. Living up to its name, the Standard Schnauzer is larger than its cousin the Miniature Schnauzer, yet smaller than the Giant Schnauzer. The Standard Schnauzer is particularly well-suited for those with children, as it is a very affectionate and even-tempered breed. Most Standard’s have a pepper colored coat, with some variations.
